Description
Crispy, chewy, chocolatey cookies with puffed rice cereal. The perfect bake sale or lunchbox treat.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
3. Mix in egg and vanilla.
4. Combine dry ingredients separately, then mix into wet.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies gently.
6. Scoop dough onto sheet and bake 10–12 minutes.
7. Cool on wire rack before serving.
