Cloud Coffee Drink

  • Author: Jake
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

The viral cloud coffee drink combines bold espresso or cold brew with a thick, fluffy milk foam for a visually stunning and creamy beverage experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup cold milk (whole or oat recommended)
  • 12 tbsp vanilla syrup or sugar (optional)
  • 1 shot of espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • Ice cubes (for iced version)
  • Optional toppings: caramel drizzle, cinnamon, cocoa powder, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Brew your base: Prepare a shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee. Chill if making an iced version.
  2. Create the cloud: Pour cold milk into a frothing jug. Add sweetener if desired. Whip using a frother, whisk, or mixer until thick and fluffy (30–60 seconds).
  3. Assemble the drink: For iced, fill a glass with ice and pour in the coffee, then spoon the foam on top. For hot, pour espresso into a cup and top with the cloud foam.
  4. Add optional toppings like caramel, cinnamon, or cocoa powder.

Notes

For best results, use cold milk and avoid over-whipping. Let foam rest for 30 seconds before spooning for longer hold.
